New Wood Effect Porcelain Paving Range

We are excited to announce, at long last, have a small range of wood effect porcelain paving products called Woodmania available for collection or delivery anywhere on the South Coast. There may be a small lead time for larger orders until we are able to build up our stock levels.

This range of products is available in Caramel which has a blend of Mid Caramel and light brown tones creating a warm and attractive natural-looking wood finish and Musk which provides a subtle blend of darker wood tones with a Grey / Musky background, offering a more contemporary twist on a traditional looking wood finish. Each of these colour ranges has 21 different design prints making them extremely realistic and stopping the possibility of repetition of pattern.

The Inspiration for our Woodmania range of porcelain paving comes from Salvaged oak from an old Tuscany farmhouse, this flooring has been transformed into porcelain stoneware without modification. A wood effect with a unique lived in charm, rich in material details complete with all the markings, knots and cuts from the passing of time can be seen across multiple different surface variations glazed with a unique none light reflective surface to give an overall matt finish replicating exactly the natural appearance and beauty of real wood.

Caramel & Musk Woodmania Porcelain is available in 400 x 1200 x 20mm (Nominal Size) and is suitable for all exterior applications

Dimensional tolerance + or – 2% (max 5mm) in both width and length.

  • Resilient to weather and temperature changes, it will not fade in the sun and will not be affected by freezing during the colder months.
  • Non-slip with a lightly textured surface.
  • Highly resistant to scratches and other damage.
  • No additional specialist equipment is needed to lay porcelain just a good quality Porcelain diamond blade.

Why Italian Porcelain?

Italian porcelain is manufactured to the highest quality standard and has a more realistic surface, mimicking natural stone perfectly, whilst offering reduced maintenance and increased split resistance and its superior manufacture makes it easier to cut than all other porcelain products on the market.

We use the latest technologies in all our production plants, all of which are Sacmi machinery (sacmi is the number one in the world for production line machinery and technology)

We source the finest raw materials from specific quarries from around the world to give the best final result in quality of finish, for better durability meaning greater longevity of use, and greater consistency from batch to batch as well as the latest high-definition inkjet printers for more defined realistic graphic design.

Our printers use minimum tri-colour heads to enable a wider spectrum of graphic variance, double compared with most other products available in the UK and refined attention to detail for more realistic results. We have invested in longer than average Kilns for our production, enabling us to manage closer and better the overall result of each product, this is achieved by gradually firing the tile over a longer period of time between temperatures of 1000 to 1300 degrees C, building the temperature up gradually and then a longer cooling down process thus resulting in less stress on the product, meaning no bowing and less brittle than our competitors.

The production processes we use are above the industry norm, this helps us ensure our products have greater density than the average product in the market, meaning greater strength and less subject to wear under heavy foot traffic environments.
