Porphyry is an extremely dense hardwearing material that has a beautiful tonal range of purples, greys, reds and browns and everything between, helping to create a stunning aesthetic, which has result in this product being used throughout Europe for many centuries.
This is a hand split product with all sides having a rough textured, this offers excellent anti-slip properties, at the same time as adding to the rustic charm of this beautiful paving product.
Porphyry Setts are ideal suitable to being laid in Arches, Circles, Coursed or even Fantail.

100 x 100 x 40-60mm
Approximately 81 setts per sqm (with a 10mm pointing gap)

The shade of the final product will differ compared to the sample you may receive or the images shown on this website, all natural products have a natural colour variation within and between different batches. You must ensure that you are happy with the colour variation of the product you have received before you start laying, as after installation exchange will no longer be possible.
Ensure that you have all the required material to completely the whole project onsite before commencing any work. Open all your crates at the same time, taking material evenly from each of them. This will ensure you have a good distribution of colours across the whole paved area. DO NOT open one crate at a time using all the material before opening the next, this can result in uneven distribution of colours and can look unsightly.
The increased thickness gives some additional strength needed when being used on driveways.
All setts dimensions have a size tolerance of + or – 10mm.
