Description
Reclaimed Granite Setts have been used for centuries to create hard wearing and durable road surfaces and pathways. Proven to withstand the rigors of time and weather, reclaimed granite setts will make the ideal product for anyone requiring the ultimate finish to their driveway or patio project.
Granite setts have been re-gaining their popularity over recent years as people look for an alternative to concrete block paving driveways. They provide better durability and a far more beautiful finish that cannot be re-created with any concrete imitation products.
Each bulk bag contains 1 Tonne of setts that will cover, very approximately 2.75m² (this is only a rough guide)
Our reclaimed granite setts come in varying sizes but are approximately 250x100x100mm, each batch however, differs greatly so please call for detail before ordering.
The shade of the final product will differ compared to the sample you may receive or the images shown on this website, all natural products have a natural colour variation within and between different batches. You must ensure that you are happy with the colour variation of the product you have received before you start laying, as after installation exchange will no longer be possible.
Ensure that you have all the required material to completely the whole project onsite before commencing any work. Open all your crates at the same time, taking material evenly from each of them. This will ensure you have a good distribution of colours across the whole paved area. DO NOT open one crate at a time using all the material before opening the next, this can result in uneven distribution of colours and can look unsightly.
As this is a reclaimed product and from different demolition jobs throughout the country, there will always be large colour variations between batches, ensure you order enough to complete your project from one batch, allowing additional material for cuts and wastage.
Reclaimed Granite setts vary greatly in size and will need careful select to get the desired finish, this is not a DIY product, only experienced installer should use this product.
We would strongly recommend using Instamac Flow Point when pointing these products.
We recommend that all customers read our product selection, maintenance & installation guides before purchasing.
Do not use acidic cleaners on natural stone as they can cause permanent, irreparable, damage to the colour and structure of the stone.
